Proudford-Nalder completes Friday testing clean sweep ahead of Snetterton GB4 Winter Series

23 October 2026

Douglas Motorsport's George Proudford Nalder completed a testing clean sweep on Friday at Snetterton, with the Australian setting the fastest time in each of the day's four test sessions ahead of the inaugural GB4 Winter Series.

Having also set the pace in three of yesterday's test sessions, held in much drier conditions, the British F4 race winner showed his class in wet running today, with his lap of 2m06.393s in session one this morning being over seven tenths of a second clear of the pack.

Elite Motorsport's Ginetta Junior graduate Jesse Phillips was second fastest courtesy of his lap at the end of the day, putting him just 0.054s ahead of R Racing's single-seater returnee Chase Fernandez, who also set his best time late on.

The second Elite Motorsport car of Harrison Mackie was next up ahead of dominant Ginetta Junior champion Lewis Goff in KMR Sport's lead machine, with both also setting their best laps in session four, and split by 0.050s.

Conor Grant was sixth quickest for Douglas Motorsport, and ahead of Elite's John O'Donnell. Both drivers are podium finishers in GB4, but neither has much experience of wet running in the series after one of the driest summers in UK history.

Alexander De Benedittis was the top car-racing rookie in eighth for Pace Performance, and ahead of F4 contender Qarrar Firhand (Fortec) and Fox Motorsport's GB4 returnee Archie Bullard.

The GB4 Winter Series field will return to action at Snetterton tomorrow (Saturday) with the first qualifying session at 10.10.
