Fox Motorsport has confirmed that rising Saudi talent Jasser Iskander will remain with the team for the inaugural GB4 Winter Series later this month.
The 15-year-old from Jeddah, home of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, will partner rookie Rob Crawford in what is set to be a multi-car entry for the four-race series at Snetterton on October 24-25.
Max Verstappen fan Jasser began racing rental karts in his homeland midway through 2024, but made his debut in the country’s elite-level series, the IAME KSA Junior Karting Championship, just four months later.
After incredibly winning the championship in his first full season in 2025, he made an immediate switch to car racing with Fox Motorsport, from Maldon, Essex, in the GB4 Championship.
A learning season aboard the Tatuus MSV GB4-025 single-seater resulted in some impressive highlights, such as a Rookie class podium on his racing debut at Silverstone in May.
He scored a maiden class victory at Donington Park during the summer on the weekend when he also secured his best overall finish of seventh and best overall qualifying result of 10th.
Jasser Iskander said: “I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel for the GB4 Winter Series. I’ve really enjoyed my first season in cars and while maybe we didn’t get some of the results that I thought we were capable of, the learning experience has been huge. I feel like a much stronger driver now than when I started testing with Fox at the start of the year and my plan is to take all of that to Snetterton and achieve some really strong results.”
Paul McNeilly, Fox Motorsport Team Principal, said: “We’re very pleased to see Jasser continue with Fox Motorsport for the GB4 Winter Series. He’s made a huge amount of progress since he began testing with us earlier this year and is barely recognisable as the same driver nowadays. The four-race format means things will be a bit more intense than normal, but it’s all part of the learning experience and I believe he’s capable of putting everything he’s learnt over the main season into practice and delivering his best results yet.”
