Karting front-runner Max Yuill will make his car-racing debut with Fortec Motorsports in this year’s GB4 Championship Winter Series in October. 

The 15-year-old British driver from Northampton enjoyed a front-running campaign in this year's British Kart Championship Senior X30 IAME division. 

Max ultimately finished sixth in the standings after an intense battle for the championship, following positive results at Whilton Mill, Larkhall, Rowrah and PFI. His results were all the more impressive considering he was one of the youngest drivers on the grid. 

His most recent campaign continued a promising karting career, which has seen him compete in both the UK and internationally, with a run to third place in the SKUSA SuperNats XXVIII last year being another recent highlight, in his final event as a junior racer. He’s also competed in the IAME World Finals, IAME Euro Series and the Kartmasters British GP. 

While continuing his karting career, Max has also started the transition to car racing, and has sampled the Tatuus MSV GB4-025 car with Fortec at Pembrey in recent weeks, as he begins preparations for his first single-seater races at Snetterton on 24/25 October.
